She gets in contact with David Korell, a mysterious Catholic priest who tries to uncover the secrets of a mysterious, fanatical cult that seems to be in possession of a Medieval manuscript of great importance. The document itself is full of apocalyptic prophecies, and the signs of their advent seem to correspond with the events currently transpiring all over the world.
