Evil Islands: Curse of the Lost Soul is an RPG-strategy game based on the idea that a small, properly applied force can affect the course of events more effectively than raw power. To accomplish most of the objectives, one must exercise good strategic planning for both covert operations and open strikes. The RPG element is also very strong, with an extensive story line, a mystery to solve, and a multitude of characters with their own ambitions. These characters can either become the hero's friends or foes.

Superior technology brings players a whole new range of possibilities never before seen in comparable games. Many of the characters' attributes and all equipment are precisely visualized in the game modes, letting the player visually assess the strength of adversaries.

In the story, Zak looks to find his destiny and true love. On his way through the unknown lands of the Evil Islands, he will encounter friendship and treachery, affection and loathing, fluffy pets and hideous monsters, princes and paupers, and all sorts of strange creatures. He will master cold steel and high magic, will learn to obey and command, and will become a hit man and a mark.
