Namco Bandai’s post-apocalyptic trip to the underworld sees you and a group of friends fight to survive a post-apocalyptic battle against overwhelming odds.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd combines elements of a cRPG game with features known from action games. This is another part of the series created by Capcom for several years, which has gained particular popularity in Japan.

The main task is to explore the game world in order to find and defeat more and more monsters that offer an increasing challenge. This time, the starting point for the next expeditions is Yukumo. This place was built on the model of traditional Japanese mountain villages.

The characteristic feature of the series is the variety of available opponents. Apart from the different appearance, each of them requires different preparations before the hunt. With time, the difficulty level increases and without the right tactics, there is no way to go further in the game. The combat system has been slightly reshaped in relation to the previous parts, but fans of the series won't have any problems.

The game uses the Infrastructure mode, so it couldn't miss the cooperation mode, in which we can go hunting together with our friends.

Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is more of the non-stop 'hunt-or-be-hunted' adventure that arrived on the PSP in 2006 - much more. Indeed, developer Capcom boasts that Monster Hunter Freedom 2 features 50% more content than the prequel, and is something akin to a combination of the PS2's Monster Hunter and the aforementioned Monster Hunter Freedom. It's a big game.

In a barbaric world, it's a case of hunter and the hunted, and you have to make sure that you remain the former rather than the latter, especially as the game enables you to hunt online with four-player wireless co-operative or battle modes. Monster Hunter Freedom 2 really comes into its own when played with other wannabe huntsmen, as team-building and strategies can be worked upon. The single player aspect is ideal for increasing your personal hunting skills for use later in the proceedings. Your character is fully customizable, and you can build up your abilities with armour, weaponry and the most important aspect of all: experience. There are scores of quests available initially, and thanks to the infrastructure functionality, there is more content and there are more quests available for download.

Play alone or team up to battle beasts in breathtaking environments. Take on Hunting Quests to bring down the greatest of beasts, or Gathering Quests to collect items to bring back to base camp!
