Rugby 2004 - PS2 Game

EA Sports Rugby 2004 was built with Southern Hemisphere fans in mind, with licences from the New Zealand, Australian, South African, English, Scottish and French rugby unions behind it, and it's packed with teams, players and stadiums. If you enjoyed Jonah Lomu Rugby or Zinzan's World Championship Rugby, this offers a similar mix of big hits and fast ball movement, with far more teams and competitions to explore.

Over 60 teams, more than 1,500 licensed players and over 65 stadiums are included. Twenty international sides take the field, including the All Blacks, Wallabies, Springboks, England and France, alongside the Super 12 and other domestic teams, plus the US Eagles World Cup squad. Squads can have up to 30 players each, and you can customise your players and teams before pursuing a career from local leagues all the way to the World Cup. The stadiums feature standing crowds, detailed players and referees, and pitches that get muddy as the match goes on.

The simple controls make it easy to enjoy rugby's unique features, including tackles, rucks, mauls, scrums, lineouts and tactical kicking. A wide range of competitions includes the World Cup, Six Nations, Tri Nations, Super 12 and European Trophy, and World Tour mode takes the British Isles team around the globe to face national sides. Commentary from John Inverdale and Gordon Bray and an INXS soundtrack add to the match-day feel.

Features:

• Over 60 teams, 1,500 licensed players and 65-plus stadiums
• Twenty international teams, including the All Blacks, Wallabies and Springboks
• Super 12 and domestic teams
• Player and team customisation
• Up to four players with a multi-tap, with two players able to team up on the same side

A great pick for rugby fans in New Zealand and beyond who want variety and scale.
