FIFA Football 2003 - PS2 Game

FIFA Football 2003 is EA Canada's tenth FIFA game, and it focuses on making matches play more like real football while packing in a huge licensed roster. If you've enjoyed Pro Evolution Soccer 2, this is the licensed alternative, with an enormous range of real clubs and countries to choose from and a strong emphasis on teamwork.

The game has a completely reworked AI engine built around three things: team play, team tactics and real player attributes. Ball control has been overhauled too, so shooting, dribbling and passing feel more natural, with deflections, missed headers and scrambled goals just like the real thing. Players look and behave like their real-life counterparts, with different heights and skills, so the individual strengths of Europe's top stars really come through, and the TV-style presentation with top European commentary teams makes every match feel like a broadcast.

The licensing is enormous: over 175 licensed entities, including 16 leagues, around 450 teams and 10,000 players, plus the top national teams from around the world. Club Championship brings together 18 of Europe's greatest clubs, and you can play friendlies or take a team through a full season, where each league has its own quirks. The cup competitions let you chase European glory, and the multiplayer mode is made for settling arguments with friends.

Features:

• Reworked AI built around team play, team tactics and real player attributes
• Club Championship featuring 18 top European clubs
• Season mode, friendlies and cup competitions
• More natural ball control, with deflections and scrambled goals
• TV-style presentation with European commentary teams
• Multiplayer matches for head-to-head competition
• For 1 to 8 players! (Multitaps required for 3-8 players)

A great pick for football fans who want breadth and authenticity in one disc.
