Madden NFL 2002 - PS2 Game

You are looking at Play Station 2 game Madden 2002

Madden NFL 2002 is an early PS2 Madden, with Minnesota Vikings quarterback Daunte Culpepper on the cover, and it’s packed with the series’ classic gridiron action. If you enjoyed the rival NFL 2K3, this is the game that set the standard it was chasing, and a nostalgic look at how deep Madden already was in 2001.

The headline attraction is Franchise mode, which can run for 30 seasons and track a huge amount of data, so your dynasty really has a history. Part of that is the 2002 expansion draft, which lets you add the league’s 32nd team, the Houston Texans, which in turn moves the Seattle Seahawks into the NFC in the second season. Two new modes liven things up between seasons: Training mode, which makes good use of John Madden’s voice to teach you the game, and the Two-Minute Drill, where you play the clock and try to rack up points in the final minutes. Madden Cards return and can be earned in any mode, giving you a reason to keep playing even outside the main season. John Madden’s new commentary adds to the broadcast feel.
