Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe - PS3 Game

You are looking at Play Station 3 game Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe is one of gaming's most unlikely crossovers - and one of its most entertaining. When two cataclysmic events cause the worlds of Mortal Kombat and the DC Universe to collide, warriors and superheroes alike are swept up in a battle for survival, pitting Sub-Zero against Batman, Scorpion against The Flash, and Shao Kahn against Darkseid. The result is a fighter that's as fun to watch as it is to play.

The game features a more elaborate story mode than you'd expect from a fighting game, split across two full campaigns - one from the MK side, one from the DC side - letting you experience the chaos from both perspectives. The story weaves the two universes together cleverly, giving you a genuine reason to care about the outcome beyond just the next fight.

With 22 playable characters, each playing very differently from the others, the roster punches well above its weight. Unique mechanics like Free-Fall Kombat - where you battle opponents mid-air after throwing them off ledges - and Klose Kombat, which shifts to an intense close-quarters perspective, keep fights feeling fresh and dynamic. The fighting retains enough Mortal Kombat style to appeal to series veterans while also rewarding newcomers who take the time to learn its systems.

Fans enjoy MK vs DC for the sheer novelty and spectacle of seeing two legendary universes clash, backed by a combat system that genuinely delivers. It's a bold, fun crossover that laid the groundwork for the acclaimed Injustice series that followed.
