The story drops you into a dystopian, oppressive metropolis stripped of colour and creativity, where you must use the power of your skateboard to literally transform the world around you and free its brainwashed inhabitants. As you land tricks and combos, your flow meter builds, and once charged high enough, completing tricks triggers stunning transformations to the environment - turning drab grey cityscapes into vibrant, skateable playgrounds bursting with colour, new ramps, rails, and pathways. It's a genuinely unique hook that rewards creative, flowing skating over precision technical play.

The standout mechanic is shaping - the ability to grab and reshape specific objects in the world, turning a simple rail into an entirely new skate line, or extending a ledge to reach previously inaccessible areas. It's an inventive system that encourages exploration and experimentation, letting you craft your own paths through each level. Trick control is simplified down to flicks of the right analogue stick, making the game easy to pick up for newcomers, while familiar faces from Shaun White Snowboarding join your journey with races, collection challenges, and story missions along the way. Both online and split-screen multiplayer support cooperative and competitive play for up to eight players.
