This strategy RPG is the most detailed and realistic medieval combat model ever created.

War, huh? What is it good for? Well, conquest and colonisation, for a start. And the Hundred Years' War is a great example of the kinds of conflict that took place in the history of Europe. History Great Battles: Medieval puts you right in the middle of that aged war between England and France in the 14th and 15th centuries, and arms you with authentic location and battle design to boot.

There are over 40 different units to control here, from knights on horseback to crossbowmen and standard infantry, all at your beck and call as you recreate the epic events that took place back in medieval times. You can change each unit's choice of weapons and shields, allowing for some historically correct customisation.

Although you have a historical framework to play within, the free-form quest map allows you to pick and choose your battles at leisure. Don't feel like playing that map today?
