Mafia 3 with MAP POSTER - Xbox One Game

You are looking at XboxOne game Mafia III.

Mafia III is a bold and deeply atmospheric open world crime game set in 1968 New Bordeaux - a richly realised fictional version of New Orleans dripping in Deep South character, bayou backstreets, and the cultural tension of post-Vietnam America. It's a game with a story so compelling and a world so immersive that it stands apart from almost everything else in the genre.

You play as Lincoln Clay - a black war veteran and former street soldier who returns home from Vietnam only to see his surrogate family brutally murdered by the Italian mob. What follows is a methodical, brutal, and emotionally gripping story of revenge as Lincoln systematically dismantles the crime empire responsible, one district at a time. The narrative is told with remarkable craft - cinematic cutscenes, a documentary-style framing device with real actors, and dialogue that tackles racism, war trauma, and loyalty with a maturity rarely seen in gaming. The voice acting throughout is outstanding.

The gameplay revolves around taking over New Bordeaux district by district - eliminating underbosses, disrupting rackets, and choosing which of your three lieutenants to reward with territory, each with their own personality and perks that shape how your criminal empire develops. Stealth, brutal melee takedowns, and third-person shooting all play a role in the action. Driving through the living, breathing streets of New Bordeaux to one of the greatest licensed soundtracks in gaming history - packed with Hendrix, Stones, CCR, and more iconic 1968 hits - is an experience in itself.

For players who value story, atmosphere, and setting above all else, Mafia III delivers something genuinely special.
