The Division is an organization developed around Operation Dark Winter, a training program that took place in 2001 which simulated a bio-terrorist attack on the U.S. and the resulting aftermath and response. However, the devastation of the "Black Friday" event quickly makes Operation Dark Winter a startling reality.
