Championship Manager 2006 - PS2 Game

You are looking at Play Station 2 game Championship Manager 2006.

Championship Manager 2006 puts you in the hot seat of a football club and asks the same question every fan has asked at least once: could you do a better job? If you enjoy LMA Manager or other football management sims, this brings the famous Championship Manager series to the PS2, with up-to-date data and a controller-friendly layout.

You handle everything a real manager would, from tactics and training to scouting, transfers and keeping the board happy, and you do it without needing a sheepskin coat. The player data was refreshed for 2006, and this PS2 edition includes the transfers from the January 2006 window, so the squads feel right for the season. The game has a Simulated World option, so every competition in every league is played out in the background and you can follow the rest of the footballing world, while limited player knowledge means you only discover a player’s true strengths and weaknesses by scouting them, which makes recruitment a real adventure. Matches are shown through 3D camera views, including an isometric angle that gives you more depth and detail as you watch your tactics unfold, and an enhanced transfer system with improved negotiations gives you more control over the deals you make.

Features:

• Player and club data updated for 2006, with the January 2006 transfers
• Simulated World option that plays every league and competition
• Limited player knowledge, revealed through scouting
• Enhanced transfer system and improved negotiations
• 3D match camera, including an isometric view
• Club benefactor option for a large injection of cash
• Tactics, training and full club management

A great pick for armchair managers who love tactics and transfers.
