The PC hit COMMAND AND CONQUER comes to the PlayStation. All of the missions from the original PC version, 15 missions from the Covert Operations expansion disk, and five exclusive PlayStation missions are included in this Play Station version! The original gameplay remains intact even with the change in platform.

Command & Conquer developed ideas from Westwood's previous Dune 2, forming a real time strategy game which has influenced many. The game focuses on a war between two organizations, The Brotherhood of Nod and the Global Defense Initiative. You can take control of either side for more than 15 missions. Both have different units and structures, including artillery, tanks and light infantry.

In most missions you have to build a base first to build new units and structures. Most important are the special harvesters, which collect Tiberium and deliver it to a refinery, where it's converted into money - money which is needed to create additional units.

The game also features FMV mission briefings and victory cutscenes.

The two sides are the evil Brotherhood of NOD (a criminal organization) and the Global Defense Initiative (a UN force). You get to play both sides and fight it out various scenarios. You must launch effective attacks on the enemy whilst protecting your bases. Resource management is an important element of the gameplay with the resource Tiberium being the most important.

The PlayStation version also supports the Link Cable so you can battle a second player head to head or with computer-controlled AI teams
