Cossacks European Wars is a real time strategy (RTS) wargame based in the 17th and 18th Centuries. Emphasis is placed on historical accuracy, and an excellent manual and on disc manual accompanies the game.

Take a trip back to the European Renaissance and use the technology of the day to conquer and control the continent. Choose one of 16 different civilizations to lead, each of which has an individualized set of strengths and shortcomings. Using detailed historical accuracy, the game creates a realistic political backdrop on which the action is staged. You'll have to develop armies and manage resources throughout the 2D strategy epic, which features a variety of single-player missions and eight-player action via the Internet.

* More than 85 large-scale wars and battles of 16th-18th centuries are available for single-player and multiplayer. Noteworthy battles include the English Revolution, the War for Spanish Succession and the Ukrainian War of Independence.
* Nations - Each country has its original graphics, economic and technical development peculiarities, military advantages and drawbacks, and unique units and technologies.
* Economy depends on six resources: food, wood, stone, gold, iron, and coal.
* Money is made from farming resources such as wood and coal, while you can also sell, buy and exchange resources at the market.

* The game provides an unlimited variety of tactical and strategic methods of war at land or sea.
