Creatures 2 - RARE PC Game

You are looking at computer game Creatures 2.

Creatures 2 is the sequel to the innovative best-seller from Creature Labs. This amazing Artificial Life product lets you create real life on your own PC.

An entertaining and sophisticated life simulation, this software lets players create a community of little animal-like critters called Norns. Each Norn is hatched in a special incubator and raised in an effort to create a species that can ultimately take care of itself. The premise of the program is very clever. If you can get a few Norns to adapt to their environment, they will teach others in the community to do the same. Additional features of this second version include a larger world, smarter Norns, an expanded vocabulary with 120 expressions, a virtual ecosystem with varied weather conditions and more Norn toys. Also new is a scavenger hunt in which the Norns find specific objects hidden in their environment.

The game tries to simulate life, and includes a complex two-dimensional ecology of plants, animals and insects, which provide the environment for the three main species to live and develop in.

Features:
* Play in a new world that's doubled in size. Volcanoes, seasons, and weather systems are in vibrant 16 bit colour.
* Teach your creatures - their improved brain function allows them to learn faster and interact with you in more interesting ways.
* Breed your favourites and pass on their genes and dominant characteristics to the next generation. You can even cross-breed between species!
* Discover many new inhabitants. Plants, butterflies, fish, caterpillars, ants and more are all able to interact with your creatures.
