Dreamweb - RARE PC DOS Game
This product will be available for sale in 2 weeks, but you can pre-order now to receive 10% discount!
It was just a dream. It was so real... so vivid! It was just a dream... wasn't it?
In Dreamweb you are called upon to perform the simple task of saving civilization by reversing a catastrophic turn of events. Through an innovative storyline set far in the future where everyone travels the Dreamweb in their dreams, your character, Ryan, confronts a disaster in the making. The Dreamweb consists of seven nodes, each controlled by a person whose characteristics (strengths and weaknesses) influence the web. These forces fluctuate as each node dies out and is replaced by another person who has gained control. Unfortunately, the forces of evil have usurped all seven nodes and seven evil people now control the nodes. You must battle and destroy all seven nodes in an attempt to restore the balance with only Ryan's Diary of a (Mad?) man to provide any clues.
Dreamweb features 4000 frames of animation, combat segments, a large gaming world and professional voice acting to advance the story. As you travel the byways of the Dreamweb, you'll begin to understand the reasons behind Ryan's diary. The game interface is mouse driven, point and click, and action is usually performed through a top down viewpoint (main screen) augmented by an on-screen zoom box that displays close ups related to the mouse pointer.
Dreamweb is a science fiction based alternate reality set far in the future and draws upon the imagination to envision a world where humankind's very existence is tied into an active subconscious that expresses itself during dreams. Any roots in this idea come purely from speculative fiction and pertinent psychological studies. Dreamweb creates a most unusual environment and can be considered somewhat unique in the area of mind expansion exploration.
Features:
* Totally original concept.
* Explore hundreds of meticulously detailed locations.
* A perfect fusion of science fiction and the dark mysteries of adventure gaming.
Released: 1994
***
Comes in original case, with manual.
