Delve into a fantasy world beyond your wildest dreams in Etherlords II: Second Age, a turn-based strategy adventure where four races vie for control of the world in dynamic one-on-one fights. The original Etherlords arrived in late 2001 and offered a visual combat aspect to card-based strategy combat akin to Magic: The Gathering complete with blocking, tapping and counters. The sequel is a more streamlined version and adds some roleplaying elements.

Players control one of four races in a lavish 3-D fantasy world, in which they will explore, and conquer territory, solve puzzles and seek out enemies. Combat takes place in wonderfully detailed and expansive arenas and is based upon fantasy collectable card games in which the player must make tactical decisions on the types and combinations of spells and creatures to cast against their foes. Select cards from your deck and each time a card is used, a new round is introduced and new spells become available to you.
