Telling two entirely independent but equally important tales, the game allows players to switch between characters at any save point while offering a unique experience system that's dependent on items and equipment rather than statistical upgrades. Also unique to Evergrace is its "Palmila Action System" which allows players to improve the physical abilities of their heroes by combining specialized crystals with their armaments in addition to a pressure-sensitive combat system and completely different battle techniques for its respective characters.
