If you are new to the game of golf, you will want to start with the lessons menu, which takes you through three in game lessons and teaches the basics of golf and the game controls. Those players already steeped in the nuances of the sport will want to jump into the play game menu, where you can choose from a number of different options including stroke play, match play, and training. Anyone looking for a challenge should try the Tournament and Versus modes. Tournament mode puts the player in competition with a grid of computer controlled opponents, while the Versus mode is a one-on-one match if the player wins, the opponent becomes a playable character. HOT SHOTS GOLF offers enough options for both novices and experts to enjoy the game of golf.

Everybody's Golf has great playability, using cartoon-style characters rather than realistic-looking players - it should especially attract younger players. This is done without compromising the game mechanics and physics however, which remain as lifelike as the real thing.
