To this end, players can either use one of the many boats on offer as they scour the beautifully realised locations in search of the biggest catches. Extra authenticity is also added via Fisherman's Challenge's stunning visuals, with the thrashing of the animated fish, visible struggles as the anglers reel them in, and the amazing scenery truly conveying the feel of a competitive fishing tournament.

With its wealth of secrets and subtle touches, Fisherman's Challenge is perfectly designed to appeal to both novice and die-hard anglers alike. Reward for huge hauls come in the form of unlockable secret items, while its huge array of baits, reels and rods will appease the more ardent home anglers. The game also boasts an entertaining two-player competitive mode, where two land-based anglers attempt to catch as many fish as possible within a limited period.
