Fly over 10,000 miles of real mountaintops, landmarks, and city streets in and around Seattle! Take control of 10 different planes after getting comprehensive instruction on how to pilot each; and then strap yourself in for the most detailed flight simulation. Moving 3D objects in the air and on the ground lend stunning realism, and interactions with air traffic control make the experience all the more true-to-life. If you'd like, you can even land on the water using the infamous Renegade Seaplane.

Seattle is the main region that modelled for the game. You can also visit eight western states (but not very detailed ones) like Los Angeles, Yosemite or Grand Canyon.

Flight Unlimited III adds its content many new user-flyable air crafts (Beechjet 400A, Fokker DR 1...) as well as a strong weather system (finally includes thunderstorms, ice and snow), an improved air traffic control. Besides, the game features lots of challenges, scenarios and flight training tutorials... all in a very enhanced game engine.

Comes with Looking Glass Flight Editor (FLED) in which you can place objects to Flight Unlimited's virtual world (try to complete the Western U.S. with your creations!).
