Now in its sixth year, the Formula One franchise from SCEE is THE officially licensed game to accompany the 2001 season. If Formula One gets you in a frenzy, then grab a copy of the game that lets you race at the same Grand Prix tracks that all the top racers compete at. Pit you skills against the other teams and the clock as you progress through an entire F1 season, just as your real-life counterparts would.

Formula One just keeps getting better, and so do the games representing the popular auto sport. This take on racing boasts the complete 2001 schedule: all 17 circuits, 22 top drivers, and 11 teams. Try out the game's no-frills Quick Race mode to get an immediate fix, or settle in for the long haul in Grand Prix mode. You can customize many of the races to your liking, save any creations or progress, and even race head-to-head against a friend. Now, that's F1 racing.

There's exclusive commentary from Murray Walker and tons of detail, including full 17-man pit-crews, track marshals, and individual cockpits. Driving aids allow players to tailor the realism of the game to their liking - ABS brakes, anti-wheelspin and steer/brake assist can all be switched on or off during play, without leaving the action on the track.
