Grand Theft Auto: London - Special Edition * PS

You are looking at Play Station One game Grand Theft Auto: London - Special Edition.

This Special Edition of GTA London is a standalone version of Grand Theft Auto: Mission Pack #1 - London 1969 and as a result does not need a copy of the original Grand Theft Auto. It also comes with a GTA London poster!

Grand Theft Auto: Mission Pack #1 - London 1969 is an official expansion pack to Grand Theft Auto. Instead of the fictional interpretations of New York, Miami and Los Angeles of the original, this game opens up the city of London to the player. The game features thirty new vehicles, new graphics and thirty-two new missions; all in a distinctly British theme. The new city contains many familiar landmarks from London in the late 60s as well as other cultural reference and Cockney slang. This time the player can choose the avatar's appearance, otherwise gameplay has not been changed from the original game. The player still is involved in organized crime and must perform a variety of criminal activities.

In Grand Theft Auto: London Mission Pack, if you want to stay legal, you'll want to stay on the left side of the road. You'll also be entering and exiting vehicles on the right side of the car. All the speech has been replaced with the slang and accents you'd expect to find in London around 1969. The music has also been completely revamped, and it fits the scenario nicely. The graphics are mostly new as well, providing new textures for buildings (it seems there were a lot of pubs in London back then) and new cars, including an Austin Powers-esque ride, complete with accompanying secret-spy music.

~~ Compatible with Play Station 1, Play Station 2, and Play Station 3! ~~
