IL-2 Sturmovik - RARE + BOXED PC Game

"IL-2 Sturmovik is destined to be a classic. This is one of those simulations that reminds you why you love the genre." - from Gamespot, who awards this game with an amazing Editor's Choice score of 9.2/10!

IL-2 Sturmovik is a Russian-developed World War II flight sim that takes place in the east front of the European theater. You can fly as the Russians, Americans or Germans. In addition to familiar combat-flight sim elements such as campaign and single mission options and a host of flyable aircraft for each country, this title adds the ability to turn the flying over to AI and lets you control the rear gunner. The difficulty (i.e. realism) of the controls is customizable, so you can play IL-2 as an ultra-realistic sim or as an arcade shooter.

When you fly the IL-2, you will attack German tank columns at treetop level, dodge deadly flak and avoid the covering Bf-109s. 1C:Maddox Games put expressive focus on creating an extremely detailed low-level environment. Unlike other flight sims, IL-2 Sturmovik models forests and buildings with incredible detail. Flying at 30m and 500 Km/h over a tree-covered hill couldn't be more realistic. Can you say: 'ground-rush'?
