inFamous: First Light for PS4 is a stand-alone expansion for inFamous: Second Son, developed by Sucker Punch. First Light offers a completely new story, area, and powers. Sucker Punch wanted to create an add-on that will sate the fans of the core game, and is accessible for newcomers at the same time.

This time, we assume control over Abigail “Fetch” Walker, known from InFamous: Second Son. The expansion is a prequel, and shows numerous events that had an influence over the base version, allowing the players to see the universe from a different perspective. We begin our adventure in Curdun Cay, a special prison for people with supernatural abilities. With some difficulties, the heroine manages to escape from the prison, and plans revenge on people that had thrown her behind bars. The developers made sure the nature of her neon powers is different than the ones used by Delsin through introducing completely new moves and a dedicated ability tree.

As the game progresses, Abigail escapes the prison and returns to Seattle. The old hub contains new areas, including the neighborhood of Cardun Cay prison. We are treated with a new season - the city is covered in snow, with extra weather conditions coming along with it.
