Links: Championship Edition offers putting fans a comprehensive package of Microsoft's acclaimed golf sim by including both Links 2001 and the Links 2001 Expansion Pack. The game boasts high-resolution depictions of actual golf courses, realistic physics, and the ability to play as or against real-life pros, including Arnold Palmer. Palmer also lends his name to the game's powerful Course Designer, which gives budding designers all they need to create and share professional courses of their own.
There are six world-class courses featured in the game, San Diego's Aviara, Canada's Chateau Whistler, The Prince Course on Kauai, Hawaii; Westfields Golf Club, St Andrews Old Course and Mesa Roja fantasy course. More courses can be downloaded for free from the Web.
