M1 Tank Platoon 2 - '98 TANK PC Game

You are looking at computer game M1 Tank Platoon II.

'M1 Tank Platoon II is still an extremely well-done and researched simulation, and is almost worthy of the name. 8.2/10' - Gamespot

M1 Tank Platoon 2 gives the player command of a platoon consisting of four M1A2 Abrams tanks and their crew. The player makes all the important decisions; including firing the tank's weapons and using the state-of-the-art thermal view to seek out and destroy enemy forces. Switch between fully-functioning internal cockpits or observe the conflict at first hand with the external 3D view. It's all there for you: from commanding an individual tank to calling in support from aircraft, helicopters, ground vehicles and infantry!

M1 Tank Platoon 2 is a ground warfare simulation following in the footsteps of its predecessor. MicroProse's design and engineering team, led by M1's original creator, Scott Spanburg, has reconstructed the M1A2 with breathtaking accuracy. The game offers five campaign theaters: Gulf War II, North Africa, Russian Far East, the Balkans, and Central Europe. With realistic vehicles, artificial intelligence, and a tactical reference encyclopedia, M1 Tank Platoon 2 is an impressive simulation of modern ground warfare.
