Madden NFL 08 - PS2 Game

You are looking at Play Station 2 game Madden NFL 2008.

Madden NFL 08 is EA's 2007 football sim, and the PS2 version packs in a huge amount of football for fans who want to run a team, build a star or just play. If you enjoy the depth of NCAA Football's Dynasty mode, Madden brings that same franchise-building appeal to the pros, with real NFL teams and a ton of ways to play.

This year's big idea is "weapons". You can spot the most dangerous players on the field by reading weekly scouting reports, watching player introductions and using the trigger buttons before the snap, then build your play-calling around them. On the field, hurdles, player celebrations and defensive hot routes return, and there are 60 signature moves, including Chad Johnson's River Dance and Rex Grossman's Gator Chomp, that give the game real personality.

Franchise and Owner modes let you build a dynasty, and completing mini-games in these modes lets you boost your players' attributes. Superstar mode lets you create your own player, or step into the cleats of a rookie, and carry him through a career. Fantasy Challenge is a fun addition on the PS2 version: you draft the ultimate NFL dream team and take it through a series of tournament levels, without the management side. A trophy room lets you revisit your records and multiplayer victories, and an EA Trax soundtrack of rock and hip-hop keeps the energy up.

Features:

• Weapons system with scouting reports and pre-snap trigger-button reads
• Franchise and Owner modes with attribute-boosting mini-games
• Superstar mode to create a player or play as a rookie
• Fantasy Challenge mode to draft your dream NFL team
• 60 signature moves, hurdles, celebrations and defensive hot routes
• Trophy room to review records and achievements
• Local head-to-head multiplayer for 1 to 8 players!

A great pick for football fans and families looking for a deep, content-rich NFL game on the PS2.
