Another of the Magic: The Gathering series, where you are a battle mage trying to challenge the authority of the new ultimate planeswalker of the lands. This combined strategy based interface with a real-time action battle simulation, is an attempt to "put to life" the creatures of the cards in real-time battle. The storyline has different possibilities for the hero to take, so the course of the game differs for every new game.

You take on the role of a magician who can summon spells, monsters, and effects that they use to combat other players or magicians. The computer controls your magically inclined opponent in the real-time battles, so you can expect some tough matches. All of the cards from the original game are represented (circa 1997), so longtime fans of the series should look forward to meeting some old friends in real time with MAGIC: The Gathering
