Combat Flight Simulator 3 places players in the position of either a fighter or bomber pilot in the thick of World War II. Players can enlist for the US Army Air Force, Britain's Royal Air Force or the German Luftwaffe as they fly missions revolving around air superiority, close air support and low altitude tactical bombing.

Based on the outcome of your missions you earn prestige points and change the outcome of the war. Eighteen different planes (P-51, P-47, Spits, Me 109, Fw 190, Ju 88, Typhoon IB, etc.) with multiple variants each allows for some specialized playing. Online and multiplayer options are available with specific multiplayer missions included as well.
