Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Professional Edition - PC Game

Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Professional Edition is the expanded, feature-rich version of Microsoft's legendary flight simulation franchise, building on 25 years of aviation simulation heritage with an enormous roster of aircraft, missions, and world detail. For flight sim enthusiasts, this Professional Edition delivers the most complete FSX experience available on PC.

Spread across two DVDs, this edition includes 24 flyable aircraft - a genuinely impressive range spanning small Cessnas and Beechcraft trainers through to airliners like the Airbus A321 and Boeing 747-400, plus the classic Douglas DC-3 and the Bell 206B helicopter. More than 50 missions, running anywhere from 15 minutes to over an hour, give structure to the experience - take a floatplane hop from Seattle to the San Juan Islands, or attempt the far more demanding challenge of emergency-landing an airliner over open water. A built-in tutorial eases beginners in, while the longer, more punishing missions genuinely test experienced virtual pilots.

The scale of the simulated world remains the game's crowning achievement even years later - built using real satellite imagery and space shuttle photography, the world includes 24,000 accurately placed airports, 45 highly detailed ones among them, alongside 38 richly modelled cities and 24 million kilometres of roads. Fly low over Africa and you'll spot huts and grazing elephants; traffic density even scales realistically based on real population data. This edition adds the glass-panel G1000 cockpit and Tower Controller mode, letting you direct air traffic for fellow virtual pilots as an alternative to flying yourself.

Online play lets you share the skies with other pilots worldwide, and a thriving long-running community continues to produce custom aircraft and scenery add-ons. Widely regarded as one of the finest flight simulators ever made, FSX Professional Edition remains a must-own for genuine aviation enthusiasts.
