NHL 2K7 - PS2 Game

You are looking at Play Station 2 game NHL 2K7.

NHL 2K7 is 2K Sports’ hockey game with San Jose Sharks star Joe Thornton on the cover, offering a smart, simulation-style take on the sport with a surprising amount of party fun on the side. If you’ve enjoyed the arcade hits of NHL Hitz Pro, this is the simulation counterpart, with real depth on the ice and a stack of modes for when you just want to mess around.

On the ice, the new Pressure Control system lets you hold a button and flick the right stick to order your teammates to hound a specific opponent, while Crease Control puts you between the pipes in slow-motion to make the big saves, and your players skate with improved animations. Bob Cole and Harry Neale return on commentary for an authentic broadcast feel. Franchise mode is where long-term fans will settle in, with a scouting system for rookies, a free-agency interface, a minor-league roster and rivalries, and the classic Skybox trophy room lets you spend points on unlockables, including classic teams and games. When you’d like to relax the rules, Party mode and the pond hockey and mini-rink games turn up the fun, and with all of these on a budget-friendly disc, there’s plenty of value for any hockey fan.

Features:

• Pressure Control and Crease Control systems
• Franchise mode with rookie scouting, free agency, a minor-league roster and rivalries
• Quick Game, Season, Tournament and Training modes
• Party mode with mini-games, plus pond hockey and mini-rink
• Skybox trophy room with unlockable classic teams and games
• Commentary from Bob Cole and Harry Neale
• Multiplayer for up to eight players with a multi-tap or two (or 2 players without)

A great pick for hockey fans who want depth and fun in one disc.
