NHL Hitz Pro - PS2 Game

You are looking at Play Station 2 game NHL Hitz Pro

NHL Hitz Pro is Midway's arcade-style hockey game on PS2, dialling back some of the over-the-top exaggeration of earlier Hitz entries in favour of a slightly more grounded, physical take on the sport while retaining the series' trademark big hits and fast-paced action. For hockey fans who love aggressive, hard-hitting gameplay, this delivers real satisfaction.

Big, bruising checks and fast end-to-end action remain central to the experience, with a simplified control scheme that keeps the game accessible while still rewarding skilled stick-handling and positioning. Officially licensed NHL teams and players add authenticity to the arcade-style presentation, striking a nice balance between simulation and arcade fun.

Multiplayer remains a highlight, with fast matches and satisfying physicality making for great couch competition. For hockey fans who want punchy, physical arcade action rather than deep simulation, NHL Hitz Pro delivers an enjoyable and accessible experience.

The pared-back approach compared to earlier arcade-heavy Hitz entries brought the series closer to genuine NHL gameplay while keeping the crunching, highlight-reel hits that made the franchise's name. A deep trick system for skilled dekes and one-timers rewards players willing to learn its more nuanced control scheme beyond simple button mashing. A solid pick for hockey fans who want punchy, physical arcade action.

For 1 to 8 players on one screen (with multitaps).
