Panzer Front - PS1 Game

You are looking at Play Station One game Panzer Front.

Surging through the fields and towns of Europe engaged in fierce combat comes the ultimate in action strategy games for the PlayStation. Panzer Front combines all the intensity of a full-bloodied action game with strategic elements based on historic campaigns of World War II.

Panzer Front is a realistic World War Two tank combat simulation spanning the summer offensive into Russia of 1941 to the fall of Berlin in 1945. Nearly 25 historical missions are provided in which the player can control USA, Russian or German forces. Nearly 30 realistically modelled tanks are playable along with 7 fictional ones and dozens of other vehicles that make up friendly and enemy forces.

Set in various theatres of World War II, this tank sim pits Russian, German, and American armour against each other in a series of missions designed to test both strategizing and twitching abilities, albeit with a heavy emphasis on the former. The game offers two main modes, Tank Select and Tactics. Tank Select is an arcade-style mode, with exaggerated tank capabilities and basic missions, most revolving around killing whatever moves. Tactics offers a selection of 28 different maps with a variety of terrain, opposition, and victory conditions. The missions are almost evenly divided between Russian, American, and German missions, but secondary factors mix things up so thoroughly that the different capabilities of each army's tanks are only a small drop in the bucket full of strategic factors you have to consider.
