Planescape Torment - PC Game *RARE*
This product will be available for sale in 2 weeks, but you can pre-order now to receive 10% discount!
You are looking at computer game Planescape Torment.
'It's clearly the best traditional computer role-playing game of the year and is bound to be an all-time favourite for many of its inevitable fans. 9/10!' - Gamespot
Planescape: Torment is a fantasy role playing game that uses the Advanced Dungeon and Dragons rules with the Planescape campaign setting. This setting turns most of the traditional fantasy elements on their pointy ears, and challenges you to solve the intricate riddle of the Nameless One. You awake from death on a cold Mortuary slab with no memory of your previous lives and no idea who you are. The rest of the game involves unravelling your past and seeking out clues to your identity and past sins. Torment uses Bioware's Infinity engine, which was put to good use in Baldur's Gate. Players control the action from a top down view, and the game generally adheres to the Dungeons and Dragons rules, which allows you to grow your character in terms of experience level and equipment.
Welcome to Sigil, the City of Doors, a place with gates that lead anywhere in existence provided you have the proper key. It is a neutral ground and watering hole for races across the multiverse, all under the watchful shadow of the Lady of Pain, the enigmatic ruler of the city. It is a place where the word is mightier than the sword, where thought defines reality, and where belief has the power to reshape worlds and change the laws of physics.
Features:
* An Advanced Dungeons & Dragons single-player fantasy RPG
* Throughout the game your character adapts to fit your own personal gaming style
* A setting filled with sharp-edged visuals, bizarre adversaries, and strange magic
* Built with the Bioware Infinity Engine, the same game engine used in Baldur's Gate
* The Planescape universe is a setting you've never experienced
Developer: Black Isle Studios
Genre: RPG
Released: 1999
