PRESS KIT World Rally Championship 2 Extreme (WRC 2) - PS2 Game

WRC II Extreme is Evolution Studios' official World Rally Championship game, and many rally fans still rate it as one of the best rally games on the PS2. If you enjoy Colin McRae Rally, this has a similar demanding, stage-by-stage feel, with the official WRC licence and real drivers behind it.

All 14 official WRC events are on the calendar, from Monte Carlo to Kenya to Argentina, spread across 14 countries and more than 100 stages of photo-realistic track. The seven WRC manufacturers are all here, Ford, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Subaru, Skoda, Hyundai and Citroën, with 21 official drivers including Tommi Makinen, Richard Burns and Carlos Sainz. Drivers and co-drivers are recreated using facial technology, and actual WRC co-driver voices call the pace notes. A new physics model and access to real team data make slides, skids and handbrake turns feel more realistic, and hinged body parts and removable panels let you see the cars take a beating.

You can race the whole championship, set up Custom Rallies or take on a friend in the two-player Super Special Stage Challenge. You can tweak your car's setup, with choices like gear ratios and tyres giving real risk-and-reward decisions, and unlock secret "Extreme" concept cars created by WRC designers.

Features:

• All 14 official WRC events across 14 countries
• Seven manufacturers and 21 official drivers
• Real co-driver voices and driver likenesses
• Realistic physics and visible car damage
• Unlockable "Extreme" concept cars
• Championship, Custom Rallies and Super Special Stage Challenge modes
• Car setup tuning
• Two-player split-screen racing

A great pick for rally fans who want an authentic, official WRC experience.
