Pro Rally 2002 - PS2 Game

Pro Rally 2002 is Ubisoft's take on rally racing, with real licensed cars, stages around the world and a focus on the speed and pressure of stage-by-stage competition. If you enjoy Colin McRae Rally or WRC, this gives you a similar tuning-and-time-trial experience, plus an easy-going arcade mode when you just want to race.

Twenty licensed rally cars are on the grid, including the Peugeot 206, Toyota Corolla WRC, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII, Citroën Xsara Kit Car and Audi Quattro, spread across private, kit car, Group A and legend classes. Forty-eight stages take you around the world, to places like Italy, Argentina, England and Sweden, covering more than 175 kilometres of snow, rain, mud, asphalt and gravel. Each course demands a different approach, and collision-affected handling means a clumsy hit will show in how your car drives.

There's plenty to tweak. Extensive tuning options let experienced drivers set their cars up exactly how they like, while newcomers can learn the ropes in the School mode, where you earn your licence by passing tests in different conditions, and your co-driver assesses your driving as you go. Other modes include Time Trial, Championship, Arcade, Trophy and a split-screen Versus mode, so there's plenty of variety whether you want to chase the fastest stage time or take on a rival.

Features:

• 20 licensed rally cars, including the Peugeot 206 and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII
• 48 stages in countries including Italy, Argentina, England and Sweden
• School mode to earn your licence
• Time Trial, Championship, Arcade and Trophy modes
• Extensive car tuning and collision-affected handling
• Co-driver assessment of your driving
• Two-player split-screen Versus mode

A great pick for rally fans who love to tune their car and chase the perfect stage time.
