Resistance 2 - 9/10! PS3 Game

'Resistance 2 is bigger, better, and broader - everything a stellar sequel should be. 9/10!' - Gamespot

The United States is being invaded by the evil Chimera hordes, and only you can stop them. Set in an alternate universe in which World War II was cut short by an alien invasion, this exclusive PLAYSTATION 3 first-person shooter sees the battle moving in the 1950s from the recently liberated UK to a human resistance base in Iceland and finally onto America.
You play as Nathan Hale, a U.S. soldier immune to the Chimera’s mutagenic virus

Entire cities have been levelled and communities annihilated. In this war where the odds are so heavily stacked against the human race, few are left who are willing and able to fight. Fortunately, Hale is not alone. A group of super soldiers known as the Sentinels will fight alongside Hale as they collectively attempt to thwart the inevitable. Players will once again step into the war-torn boots of Nathan Hale, who not only faces near impossible odds on the battlefield, but also constantly struggles with the Chimeran virus raging inside his own body.

In addition to an epic single-player campaign, Resistance 2 offers a truly unprecedented eight-player, class-based online co-op campaign with a separate, parallel storyline and 60-player online competitive multiplayer built upon a massive battles, greater intimacy mantra.

Features:
* Experience co-op in a completely new way. Choose between three distinctive character classes and join seven other players to battle through a unique story that parallels the main campaign
* Online competitive multiplayer - a cornerstone to Resistance: Fall of Man’s global appeal - just got better
* New Chimeran creatures include the Chameleon, with cloaking powers, and the Grim, a species that attacks in hordes
* US-based campaign is loaded with tons of new weapons to enhance the overall gameplay and first-person shooter experience
