Riven: The Sequel to Myst - PS1 Game

You are looking at Play Station One game Riven: The Sequel to Myst.

The intrigue of MYST returns as Atrus tries to outwit Gehn for good putting an end to his corruptive ways. Can you help Atrus solve the labyrinth of puzzles awaiting him on the island of Riven? Enter a deceptively delicate world torn apart by age-old family conflicts as you search, explore, and call on every ounce of intuition you can muster. The successful structure of the first installment is once again in place, as you roam the mostly desolate island, scouring its rooms for portals, clues, and secret chambers. Each world you enter is a superb blend of delicate beauty and nail-biting suspense, and each riddle is more difficult than the last. The few beings you do encounter are as reclusive and mysterious as the game itself and there's an array of pathways at your disposal each leading to a unique and stunning fate. With groundbreaking graphics and sound, over three hours of astonishing animation, and a story that would make Dickens weep, RIVEN is a truly engrossing masterwork.
