One of the most critically acclaimed strategy games of all time, Sacrifice places you in the role of a wizard in service to one of five warring gods bent on ruling the universe. You'll master arcane spells, summon powerful creatures and harvest the souls of your dead enemies to control the lands. It's an epic, multiplayer, no-holds-barred real-time strategy game.

On each of the different levels of the game, the Wizard can choose another God to support, and according to that God you'll get new spells and creatures. After finishing the game, each player will have his own unique set of spells.

A total of 55 unique creatures await the Sacrifice gamer, not to mention seemingly countless spells and wizardry. Additionally, hordes of characters are able to do battle with no slowdown in frame rate. Imagine a new weather system that can be controlled through magic, pouring rains of fire or devastating earthquakes which permanently alter the battlefield beneath your enemy's feet. However, it's the gathering of opponent's souls and sacrificing them at your altar, that can ultimately change the complexion of a given confrontation.

Emphasis on action and role playing 50 creatures to command and 50 spells to cast; Gather opponents souls, then sacrifice them at your altar.

The game's multiplayer option is very similar to Blizzard's Battle.Net- you can log on to the company's chat room and find new players to play with. You can either choose a God to serve (and get all of his creatures) or load one of your Single-player wizards, so you'll have your own unique set.
