Salt Lake 2002 - PS2 Game

You are looking at Play Station 2 game Salt Lake 2002

Salt Lake 2002 is the official licensed video game of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, capturing the pageantry, pressure and thrill of competing for gold in Utah. If you enjoy quick-fire Olympic events like those in Athens 2004, this gives you the same "one more go to beat the record" appeal in a winter setting, and as the only official game of these Games, it's a neat piece of Olympic history.

Six real Olympic events are on offer: men's alpine skiing downhill, ladies' alpine skiing slalom, men's snowboard parallel giant slalom, women's freestyle skiing aerials, men's ski jumping K120 and men's two-man bobsleigh. Sixteen countries are represented, and each event is modelled on the real Salt Lake 2002 venues and schedules. The developers used satellite imaging to build the environments, with terrain accurate to about two feet in height, and motion-captured athletes and real-time physics keep the action moving smoothly.

TV-style presentation adds to the atmosphere, with camera angles that take in the crowds, venue scaffolding and winter scenery, just like a broadcast of the Games. Four modes of play, Olympic, Classic, Tournament and Freeform, let you chase a full Olympic campaign or practise your favourite events, and your records and player profiles are saved automatically so you can keep beating your best.

Features:

• Official licensed game of the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games
• Six events: downhill, slalom, snowboard giant slalom, aerials, ski jumping and two-man bobsleigh
• 16 countries represented
• Authentic venues modelled on real Salt Lake 2002 locations
• Olympic, Classic, Tournament and Freeform modes
• Multiplayer modes, including head-to-head split-screen snowboarding

A great pick for Olympic fans and collectors of officially licensed sports titles.
