Sled Storm - PS2 Game

You are looking at Play Station 2 game Sled Storm.

Sled Storm is EA Sports Big's high-speed snowmobile racer, which mixes fast circuit racing with big-air stunts. If you've enjoyed the trick-and-boost thrills of SSX Tricky, this takes that same "big air, big speed" attitude and puts you on a screaming snow sled instead of a snowboard.

You race through seven snowy and icy tracks set around the world, including Sweden, France and Argentina, and each one is packed with hidden shortcuts, alternate routes and smashable objects to plough through. Pulling off tricks on jumps and drops fills your Storm meter, which powers a boost, so the best racers are the ones who combine clean lines with daring stunts. A cast of competitive riders each has their own sled and playing style, and the choice of sleds matters too: quad sleds are more stable, while mono-track sleds accelerate faster.

Championship mode is the heart of the game, unlocking new tracks, characters and up to five classes of sled as you win races. Once you've conquered it, Rival Challenge lets you race one-on-one for another rider's sled, pink-slip style, which adds real stakes and a reason to keep improving. An industrial and electronic soundtrack keeps the energy high throughout.

Features:

• Seven tracks with hidden shortcuts and alternate routes
• Championship mode that unlocks tracks, characters and sleds
• Trick system that charges your Storm boost
• Up to five classes of sleds with different handling
• Rival Challenge races to win your opponent's sled
• Adjustable number of opponents and laps in non-championship races
• Up to two players

A great pick for fans of arcade racing and extreme sports games who want fast, fun winter action.
