Smash Court Tennis Pro Tournament 2 - PS2 Game

You are looking at Play Station 2 game Smash Court Tennis Pro Tournament 2

Smash Court Tennis Pro Tournament 2 is Namco's much-improved sequel, with real stars, real Grand Slam venues and a career mode that lets you build your own champion. If you enjoyed Virtua Tennis, this offers a more technical, shot-making style of tennis with plenty of depth, and it's a great way to feel the thrill of Wimbledon from your couch.

Sixteen licensed pros are on court, including Andy Roddick, James Blake, Lleyton Hewitt, Serena Williams, Lindsay Davenport and Anna Kournikova, rendered with sharper models and a more stable frame rate than the original. You can play on all four Grand Slam stages: Wimbledon, the US Open, the Australian Open and Roland Garros. Serves can be finely adjusted to make aces possible for skilled players, and the mix of strokes rewards good timing and shot placement.

Pro Tour mode is the heart of the game, letting you create your own player and climb the world rankings. You can fine-tune everything from appearance and hair colour to stroke technique, nationality and stance, earn attribute points through challenges and spend your winnings on better equipment in the pro shop. Six modes in total keep things varied, including a Lesson mode to teach newcomers, Challenge mode mini-games, Arcade mode across three difficulty levels and a Watch mode to sit back and enjoy the CPU players going head-to-head.

Features:

• 16 licensed pros, including Roddick, Hewitt, Serena Williams and Kournikova
• All four Grand Slam venues
• Pro Tour career mode with create-a-player customisation
• Six modes, including Lesson, Challenge, Arcade and Watch
• Pro shop equipment and attribute upgrades
• Up to four players for mixed doubles (multi-tap needed for 3-4)

A great pick for tennis fans who want serious depth and a satisfying career to build.
