One of the most realistically gruesome games for the PC has now been updated with a wealth of multiplayer features in this PS2 incarnation. In Soldier of Fortune Gold you play a merciless mercenary tracking a fanatical terrorist organization through over 30 deadly missions. Through sabotage, assassinations, and daring assaults, you must eliminate them before they eliminate you.
As mercenary John Mullins, you will travel all over the world on a mission to take out terrorists. And you'll do so, one limb at a time if need be. Solder of Fortune features no less than 26 body zones all of which can be blown apart using Ravens GHOUL technology. Although the majority of the action consists of pumping bullets into your enemies, some situations require you to make a little less noise. When that happens, use your trusty dagger to carve up your opponents. You must dispatch as many of the organization's members as necessary to complete your mission. Failure means more than just going home in a bag; it could mean global thermonuclear holocaust. And worst of all, you won’t get paid.
The game features all of the explosive, first-person shooter action of the original Soldier of Fortune and adds more than 15 new multiplayer levels, new team modes, and character models.
