Strictly at the Micro Machines cutesy end of the market, Supersonic Racers gives you 8 cars on the track at once with a choice of over 30 tracks. The racing is from a top down view and while the graphics aren't quite up to micro machines standard, its no slouch either.

The reason I recommend this title so highly is down to its originality on its tracks. Some tracks have obsticles like crocodile swamps, ski lifts, swings and blasting out of canon balls. Some races are held in space and so instead of pressing X and powering away, you'll be busy edging your space craft around in zero gravity. With so many different quirks the game always feels fresh. Top notch multiplayer modes help too!"
