Based on the third Terminator movie, but following a separate storyline, Rise of the Machine is a first-person shooter with hand-to-hand combat and vehicle-based elements. The game features over six minutes of original film footage not included in the T3 theatrical release, voices and likenesses of the entire cast, and the ability to play as a Tech-Com Terminator and a CRS Fighter, placing players in both good and evil roles from the film's storyline and beyond.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines will go one step further by providing fans of the Terminator series with a deeper look into the movie's universe and the role of the Terminator, a futuristic fighting machine reprogrammed to save humanity from the SkyNet holocaust.
