* Thief 2: The Metal Age (8.6/10):
Following Garret's previous adventures in the first game, the repercussions of his actions have changed the political landscape. Thief 2 keeps much of the same gameplay and abilities from the original Thief: The Dark Project but offers a few new toys. Among them are scouting orbs; which can be thrown to see around corners and flash mines. The heart of the gameplay is still stealth, made up of Garrett's ability to stay quiet, stay hidden and keep signs of trouble out of anyone's view. Garrett's main weapons are his sword, his blackjack and an assortment of arrows, each with a special power. Each level features a variety of objectives as well as several items which don't belong to you, but are nonetheless valuable and can be stolen.

* Thief 3: Deadly Shadows (8.3/10):

In Thief: Deadly Shadows, players once again take on the role of Garrett. He is rarely seen, never caught and capable of breaking into the most ingeniously secured places. Garrett steals from the wealthy and gives to himself, making his living in the dark and foreboding City. Preferring to be left alone to ply his trade, prophecies of an impending Dark Age dictate a different plan for the thief. In Garrett's efforts to prevent this approaching Dark Age, he has inadvertently roused an ancient hidden evil. Without allies, Garrett finds himself standing alone between the City and the forces that would crush it.

This third instalment of the of the Thief series adds some new elements to the franchise, including a third person viewpoint and a more persistent and open-ended world, where you can pick the next mission you want to undergo.
