Train Simulator 2017 - PC Game

You are looking at computer game TS 2017.

Train Simulator 2017 is Dovetail Games' instalment in the long-running, deeply authentic railway simulation series, letting genuine rail enthusiasts step into the cab of some of the world's most advanced passenger trains. For fans of methodical, precision-focused simulation, this is a genuinely absorbing hobby brought to life on PC.

The core appeal is running to tight, realistic schedules with genuine precision across four new real-world routes. Transport passengers along the scenic Vogelfluglinie between Hamburg and Lübeck in the DB BR 218 locomotive, tear along the breathtaking Ligne Grande Vitesse from Marseille to Avignon in the iconic TGV Duplex, take in the countryside of Southern Wales aboard the Arriva Trains Wales Class 175, or experience authentic American commuter operations along the North Jersey Coast Line in the modern NJ TRANSIT ALP-45DP. Each route and locomotive is modelled with the meticulous attention to detail the series is known for.

Beyond simply driving, Train Simulator 2017 leans into the wider hobby - Railfan Mode lets you sit back and watch the world go by as a passenger or trackside spectator, capturing the perfect shot of a passing train, while the TS Academy eases newcomers into the controls before setting them loose. The Quick Drive system lets you jump straight into any combination of route and train you own, and full support for community-created content via Steam Workshop means the available routes and locomotives are effectively limitless for dedicated players willing to explore add-ons.

With a large, dedicated player base and thousands of hours of official and community content available, Train Simulator 2017 remains a genuinely deep and rewarding pick for railway enthusiasts who want an authentic, ever-expanding hobby rather than a quick arcade thrill.
