UEFA Euro 2004 Portugal - PS2 Game

You are looking at Play Station 2 game UEFA Euro 2004 Portugal

UEFA Euro 2004: Portugal is EA Sports' officially licensed tournament game built around that year's European Championship, letting you take any of the 51 competing nations from qualifying all the way through to lifting the trophy. If you enjoy FIFA but want a tighter, tournament-only experience rather than a full club season, this scratches that itch nicely - GameSpot called it "sufficiently different" from that year's FIFA to be a worthwhile pickup in its own right.

The Euro 2004 mode is the deepest and most complete championship structure the series had offered to that point, immersing you in the genuine highs and lows of qualification before the tension of the finals themselves, held across a selection of real Portuguese host cities. New moves - through passes, chip shots, fake shots, bicycle kicks, and diving headers - give attacking play noticeably more variety than earlier EA football titles, and a new morale system means team chemistry and momentum genuinely affect performance on the pitch.

Beyond the headline tournament, Home and Away mode supports the classic two-leg format, Situation and Tournament modes let you build your own custom challenges, and Fantasy mode lets you draft a dream team from the full pool of available players - a nice bit of extra flexibility for football fans who want to go beyond simply replaying history. Up to EIGHT players can compete locally using a multi-tap or two.

For football fans who want an authentic, officially licensed slice of Euro 2004 with genuinely deep tournament structure, this remains a solid pick.
