Wild Wild Racing - PS2 Game

Wild Wild Racing is Rage Software’s off-road racer, and as a PS2 launch title it’s a fun time capsule from the console’s earliest days. If you enjoy the muddy, bouncy chaos of MX vs. ATV Unleashed, this brings that same flat-out dirt-track fun to a world tour of dune buggies and pickups.

What makes it special is how everything connects. You don’t just win a championship and move on, because every mode feeds into the others and the prizes you win in one place help you in another. Win every track in a country and you’re rewarded with an engine upgrade that boosts your acceleration, speed or handling, and as you move up through the levels, hidden shortcuts open up on the tracks, so familiar courses keep offering new routes. Challenge mode mixes things up with 18 quest, skill and stunt games to win new vehicles and upgrades, including a stunt course that ends in a huge jump to the finish. Each location has its own look, from orange deserts to icy blues and whites. Retries are quick and forgiving, so it’s easy to keep going for one more shot.

Features:

• 11 vehicles, including dune buggies and pickup trucks
• Tracks in the USA, Australia, Mexico, Iceland and India
• Novice, Amateur and Pro Championship modes
• Single Race and Time Attack modes
• Challenge mode with 18 quest, skill and stunt games
• Engine upgrades and hidden vehicles to unlock
• Two-player split-screen racing

A fun, fast pick for off-road fans and anyone who wants to own a piece of PS2 launch history.
